Do you have an alley that is in need of some TLC? Well step right up! The City of OKC is offering to all neighborhood associations an opportunity to rid their common areas of litter and overgrowth free of charge!
The city's Solid Waste Management Division will provide neighborhoods with one 30 cubic yard trash container and will pay the disposal costs for whatever is collected. Neighborhoods must provide volunteers to do the clean-up. The program began the first Saturday in April and runs through the last Saturday of September. Each association may have one Saturday Morning Sweep per calendar year. Regular bulk waste rules apply and no hazardous materials will be collected. If you are interested in coordinating this effort, please e-mail president@mestapark.org!
