Important security issue

There has been a disturbing increase in graffiti around our neighborhood in the past few weeks. This activity is most prominent along 23^rd Street and Broadway, but recently our playground equipment was ‘tagged.’ The issue has been raised with city officials and we hope to organize a task force to address graffiti and gang activity in our area. Master Sergeant Michael Loruse of the OKC Police Department has indicated the police department has an officer specifically assigned to these matters. He also suggested that we report any suspicious activity directly to the OKCPD Dispatch at 231-2121, rather than 911. The HNSA Security Patrol will be on the lookout, but let’s all be aware of our surroundings and report suspicious activity promptly.
