The 13th annual Mesta Festa will be held in Mesta park on Saturday, September 20th from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.. We are SO excited about this year's event!! This year, we are sponsored in part by the Oklahoma Blues Society, so look forward to some fantastic live music!

As always, we will have lots of great food, beer and wine tasting, the Chili Cook-Off and lots and lots of fun children's activities. New this year are a Historic Preservation Booth and a Salsa Chop-Off! For a mere $5.00 fee per entry, you can obtain bragging rights! All entries need to be at the park by 12:00. Please bring at least one quart of salsa and a bag of chips. Chili Cook-Off contestants, please bring your chili in a crock pot with a ladle. Enter one contest or both, as many times as you wish. The prizes in both competitions will be Hottest, Most Unusual, and Best of Show. The entire neighborhood will judge the entries, so invite your family! Tell your friends!

Mesta Festa 2008 is a great way to showcase our incredible neighborhood. Hope to see all of you there!!

Several years ago I setup my Art Work at the Mesta Festa. I had just started makin again after recovering from an injury. My Art is based on Traditional & Contemporary Native American Jewelry and is composed of sterling silver, semi/precious stones, bone, and many other things found throughout nature. I've been making Jewelry for 25+ years and "ONLY" Top-Quality Crafting.
I live in the area, and just found out about the Mesta Festa for this year on the OK Blues Society page.
At the time, when I setup at the Mesta Festa someone had helped me setup by getting one of my SS/Bone Chokers w/turquoise and white buckskin fringe. A one-of-a-kind piece. I would like to know, if I can setup again?

Please, let me know one way or the other and/or who I can contact?

Thanks, for putting on the Mesta Festa...
Its great and great people involved!

What a fabulous time! Oklahoma Blues Society was pleased to be a part of the Mesta Festa this year. I had not realized I knew so many folks in the area and that they have attended every year. Our members and bands enjoyed the beautiful day, food, beer and wine. Thanks to the Mesta Festa Committee for a job well done.
