Last year's Halloween home decorating contest was a big success. There was a really great response with lots of neighborhood participation. This year, we will again offer cash prizes for the winners. Prize money will be $75 for first place, $40 for second place, and $30 for third place.
Just a couple reminders:
- The contest will be an exterior home decorating contest, and
- In order to participate, your home must be decorated and ready for judging by Sunday, October 21st.
And remember as you decorate that the kids will be out trick-or-treating at night, so spooky lighting will only enhance their enjoyment of your decorations.
One last note: Christmas is coming! So please start thinking about that contest, too. More details to come.
